Steven M. Greer is an American ufologist and traumatologist who wrote the book Unacknowledged: An Exposé of the World’s Greatest Secret (2017), which was published by the PRÁH publishing house in a Czech translation by Sueneé Universe as Mimozemšťané – odhalení největšího světového tajemství  (2019). He also founded the CSETI (Center for the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) project and the Sirius Disclosure Project.

In 1993, he founded the Disclosure Project, a non-profit research project to expose the public’s alleged knowledge of UFOs, extraterrestrial intelligence, and advanced energy and propulsion systems. The Project was founded in an effort to grant amnesty to government whistleblower activists willing to violate security oaths by sharing insider knowledge about UFOs. In 1997 Dr. Greer, along with other CSETI members, including Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell, gave a presentation during a behind-the-scenes briefing for members of Congress. In 1998, Steven Greer gave up his career as a doctor in favor of Project Disclosure.
